Substance Abuse Treatment Sioux County provides substance abuse prevention and treatment services to eligible residents, contracted through the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Unit (ADTU) in Hull, the Synergy Center in Cherokee, and the New Life Treatment Center in Woodstock, Minnesota. The ADTU provides prevention services to students and citizens in all Sioux County communities and provides outpatient substance abuse counseling in their Hull, Iowa office. The Synergy Center and the New Life Treatment Center provide in-patient substance abuse treatment services to persons in Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota. Sioux County applicants for these services are awarded up to $1500 in scholarships, when eligibility criteria are met. All interested parties must apply through the ADTU office in Hull.
